At this point, after reopening accounts a few times with no result, I have
entered the transaction manually. We'll see how things go I guess. I'd say
its certainly a bug.

I dropped Quicken finally and have been trying GC for a few days. So far it

I did an import from Quicken and I guess I misunderstood the terminology

process. I'm assuming I can just install over the top of 2.6.18 but I'd
like to confirm that assumption first!

Is it possible to create/save default NUM items such as:
EFT (electronic funds transfer)
DEP (deposit)
TRN (transfer)
ATM (auto teller machine)
And a simple free form text entry (this would allow for sequenced check
number entries)
This would save a great deal of typing these items if just typing

I'm running version 2.6.19 on a Windows 10 PC. I've seen several emails

version 3. So is it safe? Should I wait? I really don't want to mess up my

I had been using the transaction split to account for varied spending from
a cash withdrawal.
It would be listed as 1 line item - ATM Draw - Cash - Split - $200
Opening the split I could define Expense: Dining - $110
Expense: Cleaning -
I’m not sure if it’s the same issue really. I’m entering the transaction the
same way I have been for several months yet recently it’s been problematic last
2 weeks.
I enter the total on 1 register line like this:
Cash - $200
Then I right click and select split and enter:
—-——-— Expense $

The Up/Down scroll back moves roughly a year at a time when I mouse click
the slider. In other programs, I'm used to seeing the result of the single
click be 1 "page" of data at a time. Am I thinking wrong or is there a
setting to adjust that distance?
