Recently starting having trouble creating new accounts. When I right click
and select the New Account option, GnuCash "flashes" (as if the GnuCash
window is getting selected and then deselected) but no pop up appears to
create the account.
I'm on the latest 5.6 version

Try to switch to yahoo json for quote retrieval. I haven’t used alphavantage in
over a year.

A while back my online quotes stopped working. I've gone through several
updates of gnucash and have kept finance::quote updated as well but I get
errors every time I try to update the security prices.
Anyone else still having this issue? Or have they found a solution I
haven't?

Apologies for the lack of trimming messages.
I had already switched to AlphaVantage and had it working for some time and
then it stopped working. I went back through the FAQ entry you sent and it
sparked a new idea that I hadn't yet tried. Even though I had updated
Finance-Quote, I hadn't updated
