I have changed the 'Quote Source Information' for all of my securities (22
securities) from 'Alpha Vantage' to 'Yahoo as Jason'. Result: Duration for
price update reduced from 5 minutes to approximately 4 seconds !

The alphavantage module in Finance::Quote throttles the requests to comply with
AlphaVantage's limit. Most stocks and funds supported by AlphaVantage are also
available from yahoo_json, but currency exchange rates are not. For non-US
exchanges the symbols might be different so check on finance.y
Alphavantage has always rate-limited free quotes to five quotes per minute.
When we started using them the quote rate was the primary difference between
account tiers.

Hi Jay. You are correct. A placeholder account as simply a "group" that
holds other accounts. You can certainly reconcile accounts that are
"under" a placeholder account.
On a placeholder account, you can't get the reconcile button because you
can't open the transaction list.

account's register is open and focussed. It does indeed work from the accounts
