Hi ALL EXPERTS
Ultimately I split the QIF file in Text editor and isolated the corrupted
record. In that record out of the text in Notes (Memo) field, the letter
capital "I" somehow came to occupy the first position in the row, Now, as per
the QIF file protocol, "I" indicates Price. Hence the

I'm no linux expert but the following works for me on ubuntu...
Open a terminal window and enter the following command to give Gnucash
access to your usb drive. I believe this will only allow you to access
your usb drive in addition to the usual limited flatpak file system access

Frank,
Thanks for the tip! I was trying "flatpak run org.gnucash.GnuCash
--filesystem=/media//" but obviously the --filesystem option was in
the wrong place :-)

Hi,
I have a very weird behavior with quotes retrieved through finance quote with
the price editor:
I have a fund (Vanguard FTSE, IE00B3RBWM25) and retrieve a quote from
fondsweb. Fond is in USD, default currency is EUR. I have an USD account, so
also a translation USD->EUR is fetched.
So far

I recently saw an article on the internet about how Warren Buffett values
integrity in an employee more than any other trait. That works for
Wikipedia's too.

I've seen that quote before, but sadly I keep GnuCash running 24/7 and
turned off the tips long ago.
Thanks for the reminder!
I've been using "The Twilight Zone" as my best analogy to explain recent
times, but I wonder if Adams' quote isn't more accurate.

Makes perfect sense when you say it that way.
Thanks David.

I'm trying to change the location of the report configuration files,

Ken,
Sure all those things are good to have but it is also important to record your
problem and the solution you found if it is a general problem. Someone can come
along and tidy it up and put it into context later and add technical details if
necessary but the chances are they won't unless there
