I thought I should ask here since some time has passed. I filed a bug
report (798296) at bugs.gnucash.org on the 27th of August, and it's
still marked as NEW. At this point, I'm wondering if I should have (and
perhaps still should) have taken any action in addition to filing the bug.
Dustin,
Patience is required with bug reporting. This program is maintained by
volunteers who have limited time available to work on bugs. If you are
able to assist in some way they would be grateful for your help. I believe
that there has been some work on issues related to your report, but wh
Nope.
It'll remain NEW until it is resolved.
Just note we have many more bug reports than developers so it won't be
forgotten but no guarantees on when it gets fixed.

Well, when one of us gets to it if he has questions he'll change it to
NEEDINFO. When you answer the questions please change it back to NEW.

Thanks David, Derek, and John. I understand it's a volunteer effort and
resolution isn't guaranteed, that's why I waited nearly a month before
checking in. I didn't want to seem as if I was being pushy or acting
entitled to anything, but I did want to make sure that I wasn't missing
anything.
