Unfortunately there is not a single "GnuCash from Flatpak".
Flatpak is a packaging format, just like rpm or deb is. There are several
sources for flatpak GnuC
Thank You Got it...it helps when you know what the keyword to use to search

Its difficult because when we make a change you have to keep restarting GNC

Both Linux and Mac can run the GTK Inspector which will let you see changes as
you make them (in the Inspector) and then you can add the rules you like to
your CSS file.
I’m not sure if you can run the Inspector on Windows.
Check the wiki (searching for “GTK”) for more info.
On Mac, you’ll hav

My old thread talking about how to Make 50/30/20 Budget plan working with
Gnucash.
Like David Cousens said : we can create 2 Accounts named "Needs" and "Wants"

The account page shows the total for the CY and you can select the total for
all time; however, is there a way to add columns for several previous year's
totals?

Rather than manipulate the XML data file which has a high risk of cauing
problems, I think it would be a lot easier to prepare transactions in a
spreadsheet, export it as CSV and use the CSV importer to get transactions
into GnuCash. Both Excel and LibreOffice can produce suitable file
Thanks Adrien I know but I am using Windows 7/10 at this time

Hello,
Recently retired, I live in the UK and would like to use GNUCash to help
with income, expenditure and budgeting at a personal level.
Before committing to using GnuCash on a regular basis, I would like to know
whether it can be used under the UK Open Banking Initiative to link to on a

I second trying Gtk Inspector though I've played with it for a few
minutes last week for the first time. Here is a somewhat gentle

I would appreciate your help with a date selecting bug. Don't know if I
changed something in the Preferences menu or somewhere else, but I'm not
able to select date 01/01/2019.
When I type that date or select it in the calendar, as soon as I move the
cursor somewhere else it reverts to 12/31/1969.
Not currently possible I'm afraid.
The open banking initiative has strict requirements upon the data
controller (ie FinTech apps) to have safeguards, and gnucash being open
source will never be able to satisfy the encryption and authentication
requirements to receive a licence to access the data.
That reminds me of an old bug I think, what version of gnucash are you
running and what OS?
