I think that The screen redraw issue has been reported, But I do not know
the bug number. Perhaps someone can find it and (hopefully) either fix it
or prod another developer to fix it.
On the other hand, Jack's issue of the transaction not being saved into the
book is different. If it is a case
I do save early and often - auto save every 15 minutes. And GC has never
crashed for me. If it happens again I'll learn about bug reporting.

I read available email threads and the manual regarding posting payment
for reimbursable expenses, but I'm still not "getting it".
My account structure is set up with an asset level account called
Reimbursables (should this be an Income:Reimbursables account?). I

Steven,
A Reimbursables account will usually be an asset or liability. In your case,
asset makes more sense because you generally are being owed, rather than owing
someone else. The usual balance for it will be a debit.
It is a little unclear if you are being reimbursed for actual specific

For clarity: I recommend the --extra switch *only* to experiment with these

to continue to use one for production reports, it should be installed as a

So far noone who's actually using these reports
Steve,
In LO preferences, set links to update Automatically (for trusted sources)
Under Macro Security, make sure you are *not* using the “Very High” setting,
“High" or less is fine.
Then under Macro Security, Trusted Sources, in the file section, add a local
path where your files are stored. (I
Thank you very much. I will experiment.

Steven,
As Adrien has said the account should be an Asset account for the reasons he
gave.
When you first incur a reimbursable expense the transaction to your credit
card account should have a credit for the amount of the expense to your
credit card account and a debit to the Reimbursables asset

Hi, I just updated to gnucash 3.5 and for the life of me I can't figure out
how to open my files. Now, when I try to e.g. import an qfx file, there
doesn't seem to be anyway for me to type in the network path where it is.
