[GNC] Preferences: editing transactions

Hi All In the last week I must have answered a question incorrectly. For as long as I can remember if I edited a saved transaction gnucash would ask whether I wanted it to remember the answer for this session only or forever.  At some stage I must have answered to remember the answer forever.

1. visit gnucash.org 2. click the link for version 3.3 3. download 4. save a backup copy of your data file(s) (just in case) 5. install When your Mac asks you if you want to ‘replace’ or ‘keep both’ choose ‘replace’. *note — I don’t think the message you are getting is that you *can’t* run 2.6.1

I've been having occasional crashes in GnuCash 3.3 on MacOS 10.11.6 (the Mac is a MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mid 2009 and can't be upgraded to a more recent MacOS version). The crashes typically happen within the first few transactions that I enter after starting GnuCash. I've pressed "Report..."
