I tried the URL and got good data going back to early December. I had already
done something similar which suggested to me that the problem isn’t at
Alphavantage.
I tried gnc-fq-update and got this reponse:

Yes, it did include the listing of modules. I assumed the information of
interest was the version code so I didn't include the rest.

Yahoo!! It works now.
I had to uninstall two copies of Strawberry Perl (5.26.1001) and an older one.
Attempting to run the "Install Online Quotes Tool" downloaded Strawberry Perl
and then failed with error code 1602. A brief search suggested that I might
need to turn off my antivirus program. I
That has worked! Thank you so much.

GnuCash 3.1 released
The GnuCash development team proudly announces GnuCash 3.1, the second release
in the 3.x stable series.
Changes
Between 3.0 and 3.1, the following bugfixes were accomplished:
Bug 118391 - Long currency names untranslated.
Bug 769686 - Notes not imported when using
Thank you for v 3.1, which on a clean install, opens my gnucash file and
runs perfectly.
However, if I install it over my existing 2.6.21 application, v3.1 crashes
as it is loading ./Reports-Gnome.
Of course I want to be able to do this so that I can run my Saved Reports,

As much as I want 3.0+, thinking I'll wait for 3.4 or 3.7

I Have built 3.1 on Arch Linux and upgraded from 2.6.21 to 3.1.
When I started gnucash, I received no settings migration notices. The
last file used was opened with only the accounts tab displayed. None of
the account registers I had open in 2.6.21 have been opened in 3.1 and
none of my saved repo

I just set up a new checking account for my credit union, and I obviously
fat fingered something and accidentally set the account to Euros instead of
USD. Is there any way to fix this?

I'm not sure I follow the directions .
I navigate to the folder that contains gnucash-3.1 (which is in the
home/dennis/applications folder) by cd gnucash-3.1
I'm not sure about the line.. cmake -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREPFI

Just edit the account and change it.

I use SQLite to create some basic reporting from gnucash and I noticed that
after upgrading from 2.6.x to 3.0/3.1 several of the date fields are now
stored in two different formats:
Transactions entered in the file under 2.6.x are: mmddhhmmss while
dates entered in the file under 3.0/3/1 are y

When I edit the account, the Security/Currency field is not one of the
fields I can edit about the account.

Then you’ve already added transactions to it; one hopes not many because you’ll
need to delete them all. Depending on how many it may be easier to delete the
account, selecting “delete transactions” when asked, and recreate the account
with the right currency.

I found this evening that the Gnucash.app in Gnucash-Intel-3.1-1.dmg was
missing a line in the environment file so that it wasn't able to use the SQL
backend. I've fixed the problem and uploaded a replacement,
Gnucash-Intel-3.1-2.dmg.
