[GNC] Gnucash 3.0 fails to launch on Windows 10

Good Morning, I use Windows 10 build 16299 and am a happy user of Gnucash 2.6.20. I have installed Gnucash 3.0 three times. Each time after installation, Gnucash 3.0 has failed to launch. My datafile is 18MB. Any suggestions please? Peter ___ gnucash-use

I wonder the same too. Although new reports are enough for me now. But I had to delete lots of old custom reports because they no more worked (or compiled) But in future I may want to have my own custom reports. I wish there was GnuCash library with we could simply call Gnc_LoadFile("path")

Using Gnucash on MacOS, I got this error trying to open a recently created file which I think I based on a database back-end instead of the standard. I have upgraded to 3.0 in the meantime and thought it was the problem. But I realized when I finally was able to start a v2.6.20 on an older MacOS1

How are you running it? Perhaps it is running the old version. Run it by explicilty specifing the the full path the the executable from the terminal, something like /usr/local/bin/gnucash or wherever you installed it. If still no joy check the timestamp on the file you are running and make sure
