Adrian, is there a reason you treat the rebate as a negative expense
instead of miscellaneous (non-taxable) income? To me, the rebate is
something you get rather than something you don't give, but my analysis
could be incorrect, and if it is I'd like to know.

All of what has been listed in this thread is in that window. You can even jump
to any transaction if you need more info to investigate something. You don’t
have to close the window until you’re done. No adding machin
I am looking for a Trailing 12 Month type report - anyone have any instructions
how to get this data?
Looking for the net change for each account for each of the last 12 months - in
one report.

First, the reconciliation window does not have an option to show the
results of the reconciliation in a nice format 'Suitable for Framing".
Second, it does not have a feature to display results of previous
reconciliations, let alone have a way to correct errors in previous
reconciliations

Something that may be of interest to some of you: I just installed the
Linux Subsystem for Windows 10 (LSW) and successfully ran GnuCash. (I just
