QFX/OFX Associations after upgrade?

If you upgrade from 2.6.15 to 2.6.17 will account associations for imported QFX/OFX transactions be lost and have to be re-specified for each transaction? I'm asking because when I upgraded from 2.2.9 to 2.6.15 all account associations were lost. I can't find an answer in the forum regarding how
