I see Colin has given you instructions on how to allow gnucash on your Mac.
You may find it no longer shows in your preferences so start again!
Shut gnucash. Open preferences. Put preferences where you can find it and then
open gnucash.
When it tells you it is restricted, go to preferenc

It is only used for how to handle the second monitor. I guess it’s something
else happening in your case.
