Hi David-- You cannot, from the UI, explore the search criteria, however if
you launch with enhanced logging: "gnucash --log qof.query=debug --logto
stdout" then the search parameters will be shown on console. HTH

Yes that's true, I've only got a date showing up on the left and the sort
order on the right so there looks to be plenty of space in the middle as I
always have Gnucash as big as my monitor allows :-)

Short answer I don't think you can unfortunately. As Find and Find Account
are on the Edit menu, probably more logical to keep it there if something
were implemented. You can, when the Search Results is the current tab, go
back in to Find and instead of a New search add to your existing F
How can I find our what the search criteria are for a particular search
results window and how can I re-open the search to modify the criteria?
I know that is not under the tools menu, but perhaps it should be?
