There is some documentation on the wiki, but it is not exhaustive.
If you are running Linux or Mac, you can use the GTKInspector to find the

It’s called the Summary Bar. In Preferences > Windows you can move it to top or
bottom as desired. (so not necessarily a ‘footer’)
