It should not be a zipped file. It should be a .dmg which is like a ‘drive’. If
you have a zipped file, you don’t have the right one.
You open the .dmg, and in there will be several icons, one of which will be
GnuCash.app.
Open a second Finder window and navigate to /Applications.
Drag and dro
Having the problem of upgraded to Catalina OS and now Gnucash will not run.
Tried download 3.7 but will not unzip.
Appreciate help on how you accomplished it.
I saw you post on the gnucash page.

I downloaded 3.7 from SourceForge and it opened properly and I am back up and
running on Catalina.

He means to open the Terminal app, and type the Gnucash command.
Type terminal into your search bar, and search will highlight Terminal.app.
Double-click that, and a terminal will open. In that terminal, on my Mac, I

What do you mean launch from Terminal?
I launch from a 24 inch Mac desktop unit.
