I could be mistaken, but I think a bug report was already filed on this.
(It may have just been a list discussion though)
I tend to agree. The 'Edit' buttons that appear next to the
Vendor/Customer and Job do not 'speak' to me as allowing me to edit the
details of the Vendor/Customer or Job as
would expect.
