Hi,
I just started using 5.10 on a new computer, Windows 11 and have run into
two issues. I was previously running 2.6.15 in Windows 10.
I set up my budget and everything seems good, except that the rows at the
very bottom, Income, Expense, Transfers and Total have not been populated,

Hi,
False alarm. She had mistakenly entered data as if it was 2025 and I guess
that triggered GNUcash to think we were in 2025 and there was no 2025
budget, so no data was available. Everything seems to be back.

Hi,
My companion is working in GNUcash 4.14. she has entered most of her year

has her data but no budget. She opened the most recent copy of the f

Thanks. That is what I was looking for. I thought it was a report, not an

Hi,
I got as far as upgrading to GC 4.14 and was planning to use the Use
Accumulated Amounts report but I could not find it. Do I have to upgrade to
ver 5 or am I not looking in the correct place?

We just finished upgrading from 2.6.15 to 4.14 in Windows 10. Our budget
has a glitch. In the bottom rows the Income, Expenses, Transfer and
Remaining to Budget rows all read zeros. In 2.6.15 they totalled Income and
Expenses and showed if there was something over or under budgeted in the
Total row
We have just upgraded from 2.6.15 to 4.14. We are trying to decide if we
should go to 5.3. We use GnuCash only for basic home finances. An important
feature that we want to use is the 'use accumulated totals' in our
budget reports. This feature is available in 4.14 so we have stopped there.

I have decided to upgrade to the current version. Our current computer is
running Windows 10 and our new computer will be running Windows 11. My
thinking is that it would be best to upgrade on the Win 10 computer and
then start fresh on the Win 11 computer.
I have been looking at the FAQ's but I h

Hi,
I thought I posted this question to the list earlier today but I did not
see it come through on the feed. So forgive me if it is already out there.
My computer is on its last legs and I am expecting a newer one running
Windows 11. Will I still be able to run GNUCash 2.6.15 or should I upgrade
splay the YTD budget amounts.

Jon,
If I understand your question, it relates to transferring or spending money
going into an IRA. I had a similar problem with RRSP's in Canada. When you
transfer funds they aren't actually spent even though you have them in an
account that you can't use. My solution which I am sure is not prope
Peter,
I am still running 2.6.15. I am running Windows 10. Phil's report still
runs well in Wndows 10.
I have not upgraded because I do not want to lose the functionality of

I do manual entry so have not seen any reason to
I am using gnuCash 2.6.15 for windows and rely on Phil's custom YTD report
to compare income and expenses against my budget. I am considering
upgrading to the current version which I understand has a similar report

Hi,
I have been running gnuCash 2.6.15 for nearly three years. It has met all
my needs once I installed Phil's ytd-budget.scm to get year to date budget
reports. I do not have data to enter so I do it manually and do not
download data from financial institutions.
Should I upgrade to a newer versi
