I have set number various fake accounts with type credit card.
I all cases the reconciliation does not work. In every case the opening
balance, ending balance, in's and outs have been correctly entered and very

I have just reconciled a number of account perfectly normally but now I am
having a problem.
I have moved on to a different account and the reconciliation totals are not
adding up correctly.
The account opening balance was negative. I cleared funds into the account
but instead of the negativ

Back ground : Trying to get damaged transactions from phone to main file.
Transactions entered whilst phone app had some sort of double minus problem.

I gave up trying to import the QIF file generated by the Android App.
I exported from Android as XML then opened that file in GNU Cash. This had
the dates of the transactions the narrative (well some of it) and the
relevant accounts and about 30% of the values.
