[GNC] gnu cash creates a ton of files.

I get a lot of files in my documents folder that are like this: "X"Books.gnucash."Y" where "X" is the name of my database and "Y" seems to be a date time stamp. They never go away. How to I control these so that they are automatically cleaned up by gnucash? Thanks __
