2020-10-13 Thread Paul Konnersman
I am a new user trying to run GnuCash 4.2 on a Mac PowerBook running MacOS 10.15.7. I did manage to get it running briefly, put my chart of accounts in manually and then tried to instal OSF using the OSF installation tool. I succeeded only in corrupting the file. I I wiped all GnuCash files from

[GNC] Problem with column mapping in Import preview window

I’m a very new user, trying to import transaction data in CSV format. I am running GC 3.3 on a Mac Powerbook with High Sierra (10.13.6). I imported two files with a minimum of problems using GC 2.6, then found out that the current version was now 3.3 and upgraded. I am having problems with the

[GNC] Importing csv transactions

I'm new to Gnucash and trying to get set up. I successfully imported a couple of years worth of transactions into one account a few months ago when I was evaluating Gnucash. Now I'm trying to import more transactions into that same account without success. My process: 1) Menu Bar> File> Input> Imp

Gnucash aberent behavior

I am currently trying to set up Gnucash and am encountering a great deal of aberrant behavior. 1. Using the cursor in pull down lists selects the item below the cursor which can be overcome with the up/down arrow keys 2. Currency selection shifts from default (USD) to Andorian Franc (ADF) 3.
