Do you need to transfer data to Quickbooks? I just switched over, with the
idea that I could run QuickBooks if I needed old data. (The one thing that
I added to GnuCash were some investment bits to properly track gains).

Hey y'all,
Thank you for building GNUCash.

Is GNUCash stable in 2024+? I don't intend to step on any foots, I've been
with Linux since late 1994.

The link that I clicked on was the next to last one GNC_CONF. The only
thing I found there was a lonely file called environment. Not sure what it
contains. The GnuCash backup instructions state that the stuff is in the
Registry. Right now I don't have time to do any research on that.

And what is clear from my bank statem
It's the first two links that are probably of more interest to a user, the
other links relate to where gnucash and it's components are installed.
You'll be comforted to know that I also only have a single lonely
environment file in that same folder :-)

Michael D Novac,
You make a very good point with your illustration point 'a'.
However, for your point 'b', GnuCash has a quirk that any custom report

I'm glad your accounts are there with your data.
As other people noted, the Saved Reports are not stored with the saved
data; they are part of the user configuration.

Thanks David,

Backup not easy, is also fmiliar.
I don't wish to be critical, I have so much good help on here, but the
