Just re-reconcile the last statement with the last correct ending balance;
ignore the starting balance, and then go select the transactions that got
unreconciled.

I have somehow managed to get an amount from 2021 unreconciled. I don’t know
how this happened exactly. I recently checked back on a number of past payments
on this account, which has been the only time I approached these entries.
Apart from the mystery of why, I now have the question of how. Ho

I find the invoice numbers do not appear consistently within the
Customer Report.
I can't say when it started, because only in the last few years have I
been using the Customer Reports consistently.
It does not matter if the invoice number is external to Gnucash or is
generated by Gnucash.
I've fi

other words, not terribly useful. I wonder if the fleeting message is

(I have set my phone on slo-mo-record, that works.

In the past there was a progress bar in the lower right of the window. It
was vastly sped up in the 4 series. The last time I did a Check and
Repair, I repeated it a few times in order to catch it. It may be so fast
now that the progress bar is meaningless.

That suggested to me flatpak somehow ran with a different video driver than
your os. But from your follow up answer I gather it was not at the flatpak

Hi Art/GnuCash community,
Just so we are all on the same page here, what operating system and
version of GnuCash are you having the 'check & repair' issues on?

There is some visual feedback when using 'Check and repair' on the status
bar bottom right, but blink and you will likely miss it.
It would nice to have a pop-up that says something like 'C and R completed,
no errors' or a list of corrected errors, if any.
Feedback is important.
