Just another thought on this: when I transitioned from Quicken to GnuCash,
I just started fresh with GnuCash; on the "transition date", I used the
current Quicken account balances, and then started from GnuCash. My theory

something,
Wish I had a Silicon Mac!, but do appreciate the perhaps deceptive detective

native Apple Silicon application bundle.

Thanks, but I am a bit unsure about the instructions.
1. It says they won’t work if I have the flathub repository configured, which I
do.
2. Before doing this, I would like to know how to get back to the stable
version.
Many thanks for your help!
