I installed GC 3.11 on a PC running Windows 10 21H2 and ran "Check & Repair
All" on my GC 2.6.19 XML file (twice).
Each time, GnuCash crashed after about half an hour.
The log files do not contain any warnings or error messages.
What now?

Hi Derek,
So this is a "hidden" feature!
On the unposted invoice, Billing Information panel, the Customer field has an
"Edit..." button, which to me means I can select the customer.
Instead, it only allows altering the Customer information.
Currently the proper way is to go to the top GnuCas
Yes, we changed the name in 2.6.11 to make clear the difference between the
price database window and the price editor dialog. The latter is opened with
the Add and Edit buttons on the former.

Interesting question.
Perhaps try a 3.x flatpak?
Otherwise,
That's how GnuCash works.
Your issue as David pointed out is that you want (or have a need to)
record *unrealized* gains/losses. Usually, most people only record a
gain or loss after a transaction, not just after a 'price change' on
some listing. The price you paid remains the price (your basi

I likely would as well, which leaves Flatpak or building from source as
the only options to get a proper GnuCash upgrade path via 3.x. And
building might be quite messy with respect to dependencies in this case.

What type of Bill Terms are you using.
GnuCash only supports certain types in computing the due date.

Hello,
I'm using GNC version 4.8 (Build ID 4.8a - 2021-09-28) in Windows.
I have edited the Billing Terms so that the Due Date is +15 days.
However, when I post a new invoice, the Due Date set in the Billing Terms is
ignored and the default due date that is displayed is identical to the post

Previously I have been able to update share and fund prices manually using

In terms of the conversion, I don't think there will be important

However, I have only found it in focal (1:3.8b-1build4) and focal-updates

What is the difference between 3.8b-1build4 and 3.8b-1ubuntu1?
