Perhaps we can so get a clue of your problem.

You're correct, it is a fine "technical distinction". I save once and OneDrive
syncs the file to the cloud.
However, that is not the issue. The fact that I prematurely click on the "X"
and the relate dialogue box doesn't work the way it is supposed to is the
problem. To lessen the chance of t
This is definitely a GnuCash issue as the behavior is the same even when
only saving locally to disk.

There is fine technical distinction here when it comes to OneDrive, Google
Drive or any other type of "cloud" drive.
Unless you specifically save to two different places, possibly first time
using "Sav
But question is more general. Let's say I join Robinson Crusoe on a

save and the auto save feature has not yet saved it. I don't use multiple
computers either. I'm glad it works in 2.6.21, but it doesn't wor

In the end, I have decided to simply treat my mock trust or mock company
with a cash equity injection.

This may not be correct assumption. The file is on the local hard drive for
sure.
Only way
I can confirm that on Windows 10 using GNC 4.10 exiting via 'X' regardless
you are prompted to save the file or not does not clear the lock file on my
kit.
I do not have any unusual use of my kit so I am left to guess something with
GNC is causing it .

The first Flathub release (for 32 bit OS) was not ver 3.11 ( it could be
earlier version), since I have installed ver. 3.7 on my 32 bit OS.
That said, my conclusion is : Flathub installs ver. 3.7 on 32 bit systems (that
could be last ver. offerred by Flathub for i386).
To get higher versions than
