I can only mention my own use of hidden accts: I have used Gnucash since 2003
abt, & my old accts get moved to a holder place
(in my case ´´ for reasons that might be obvious!) These accts still exist,
but are hidden in reports. Good to keep them
for historical accounting purposes. (suc
