Hi team,
I have separate Accounts Receivable accounts for separate currencies. In
the past (v3.11?) when I ran the Receivable Aging report, I could click
on the "cog" icon (options) and select the receivables account at the
bottom of the pop-up. However with version 4.4, I don't get this option.
Hi Andrea
Glad to be of some service :--)
I don't really understand what the GnuCash Namespace is intended for,
but it doesn't seem to make any difference in this case. It is a useful
way of organizing your securities in the Security Editor.
I had a quick look at the Finance::Quote code fo
Grasping at straws here. Is there a possibility that your register view
has been filtered to not show future transactions?

No I don't but I don't see that as important. It should have been created
regardless I would think.

Next, in GnuCash, I set up the security to retrieve prices as

Hi, Geoff.
First of all, thanks for the
I figured out that indeed, the display can switch to another workspace,

You can set up screen sharing for your mac and access your desktop on
your iPad. I've done it locally with VNC Connect. (installed on the
iPad) I understand it can be setup for remote use as well but I haven't
attempted it yet. I just played with local access while composing this

Started it.
Last Run Window did pop up and showed nothing. Closed it.
No variables included.

When you say you opened GnuCash, does that mean that you started it? Or has it
been running since before 2 February and you switched to its window?
If the former, when you started it for the first time did the Since Last Run
window come up, what did it say about that transaction, and what did yo
No, nor would it make sense to do so: An invoice template is a combination of
Scheme programming code and Cascading Style Sheet (aka CSS) style data. If
you've created a custom stylesheet to apply to your invoices you'll find it in
~/Library/Application Support/Gnucash/stylesheets-2.0.

Which version of GnuCash?
What O/S?
What are the folder permission where you are saving the file?
XML or database backend? Which database?
You say it refuses to open -- but then you indicate it does open with
"Open Anyways".
So, before you run the app, do you have a lock file in the folder?

Even if I save immediately before closing the program, it refuses to open
the file. I'm making do with Open Anyways, then Save As and changing the
file name, but I don't think that's a good plan for the long run.
Any ideas?

It should be listed in the register for sure regardless and I have not
deleted it. I simply opened GnuC and looked and its not there.

I think if you set it up to create x days in advance, when the
transaction is created, the "last occurrence" is set to the day of the
transaction (no to the day it was created). So that would explain why
you see "Last occurrence 2/5/21".
Is it possible that you somehow deleted the occurrence t

Today is 2/4/21.
Transaction scheduled for the 5th of every month.
Looking at Scheduled Transactions, it reads Last Occurance 2/5/21.
Transaction options are set to Create Automatically and Create 3 days in
advance.
No transaction listed in register.
Seems pretty illogical to me. What am I missing
Hi Everyone.
I am going to Florida for six weeks and will only have mu iPad with me.
Question:
Is there a way to have the App in the Mac Cloud so that I can run it from my
iPad since I have my Mac Cloud iDrive on my iPad.
Not a big deal if I can’t.
Thanks
John
