Thanks Derek
It was the currency setup for the customer.
Can I ask one more question? How do I get a text message (for bank details)
on an invoice. I tried adding it in the footer but that didn't work.
Sorry for the basic questions but I can't find this info in the help.

Robert,
Personally, I think it makes more sense to ask questions about Gnucash at the
source, and with the user base who directly works with gnucash (gnucash-user),
rather than asking questions or posting suggestions at a general geek website.
But that's my own opinion.

Hello All,
Does GC have any shortcut keys?
Is there one that would do the following?

There's also a Reddit for gnucash that sees at least some use:

gnc-fq-check is not a standalone executable command, it's a perl script.
So open a Windows command prompt
Navigate ("cd" command) to " C:\Program Files (x86)\gnucash\bin"
Then enter "perl gnc-fq-check"
This should list all version (eg "1.49", followed by all the quote sources)

Hi Graham,
Well I'm not sure what your original issue was as this is all I saw - no
image as you can't send images inline as part of your email. From memory
you either need to add images to the end or attach them as a separate file.
So what was your exact problem again :-)
Cheers David H.

David, is something holding you back from Flatpak or building?

Hi David,
I am running 4.2 version (Build ID: 4.2+(2020-09-26)) - I am getting this
from the official community repo. See: https://archlinux.org/packages
Actually it now should be 4.4. - I just have not updated for a month.
Best wishes,
Robert

You are right - common solutions do belong together in documentation and

OK, never mind - this was user error. I did not realize that "double line"
was a separate item in the View menu, and as soon as I turned that on, I
see the 'f' as expected. Thank you!

I'm on 10.15.2.
Could I trouble someone for a screen shot of what this *should* look like?
Maybe I have arranged my columns in such a way that this isn't visible.
And by "double-line view" you mean what the View menu calls the
"Transaction Journal", right?

Roberts,
It is wonderful to hear your comment on the revised import interface. I
have been procrastinating about updating to a newer release of GnuCash for
a number reasons, but now I have updated to release 3.8, which I was able
to find in a PPA for Ubuntu 20.04.
I want to move to 4.4 but it a

My gnc-fq-xxx scripts on Win10 Pro are in C:\Program Files

If they're not present have you run the "Install Online Price

Price Retrieval to work?

Robert,
You've replied to a thread that Rob started in 2011. I imagine he either has
figured this out, or given up on Gnucash by now.
But thanks for the links to your answers on StackExchange. It's always nice to
read other people's solutions to the common issues. Many of those have been
