Antonio, I think the point that John and Frank were making is that if you *entered* the transaction in the EUR account, then it will have EUR as its currency, and you will be asked to provide an exchange rate for every GBP split that is subsequently entered, regardless of your current register

If you are adding another split to the same transaction that contains an EUR split, it will need to balance that bank charge split as well. It may be trying to balance all GBP splits with all EUR splits. That might be considered a bug, but you can work around it. Either adjust the EUR split, ad
