I wonder if anyone has a pointer on the changes in Gnucash XML format
that can cause incompatibility across program versions. I have a
scenario where one OS uses Gnucash 2.6.x series whereas the other uses
3.5. I am concerned when transporting data file back and forth, if

Having entered the payee name in the register and seeing that it says
Split Transaction then right click that and select Delete Other
Splits.

As the message says, the imported record is in a currency/security that does
not match the that of the account that GnuCash has assigned to it. This
could mean either the commodity data in the input record is incorrect or
the matcher already has stored map information which is assigning it
How do I delete split transaction associated with a specific payee? I want
to edit it or just remove the split on the next entry for this payee.

Mailman probably stripped it because it was HTML. The PNG came through fine
though.
