I have not used that interest feature in the reconcile dialog, but I would
expect it to choose an income account and automatically deliver the
currency to the the bank (asset) account being reconciled. Am I wrong?

You’re welcome. I forgot that browsers tend to render the page correctly. So if
you’re just printing without further manipulation, you might find a shorter
workflow by going that route as Victor noted.

Isn't that a system function?
I'm on Linux (Ubuntu 19.10) and when printing checks the option to
select "print to file" appears on the printer selection menu along with
the other printers configured for the system. Selecting "print to
file" then opens another dialog where I can specify output as .

I've looked through the guide without finding any information on paying
invoices and printing the checks to a pdf file. I'd like to do this and
transfer the .pdf to a host directly connected to the laser printer.
I've not tried this using gnucash and don't recall seeing that option when

Adrien,
Great suggestion!I copied and pasted the 5 page Transaction Report into a
Google Sheet and it appears to work perfectly.I did loos the bold headings but
that will be easy to fix. Thanks for the help.

Because it is a problem wit WebKit, the workaround I use is to save it as HTML
and then open it in a browser that handles it properly. Some do, some don’t.
It’s an optional feature in the standard.

Ah thanks, it's showing up on my Mojave laptop now. I've been running the
beta on an iMac and stopped getting the beta updates a little while ago so
thought I'd see something about installing the final version on it. Guess
not.

The first was an update notification from within Mojave. I also saw it on the

Hi Adrien,
I've been running Gnucash on the public Catalina beta for some time without
any problems - I'm pretty sure I upgraded from 3.6 to 3.7 on Catalina when
3.7 was released.
Where did you see Catalina had been publicly released ?
Cheers Dave H.

Since Catalina was released today, I figured I start this thread because
questions will arise.
I’m not one to early adopt an OS upgrade. I usually wait a spell for the
particular vendor to work out the initial kinks. But I’m curious if GnuCash 3.7
is ready to run on Catalina. I know there is a
