Hello,
?? I've been importing daily stock prices from a csv file.?? It worked
fine in Gnucash 3.5, but doesn't work in 3.6-3.8.?? I keeps nagging me
for a "namespace". What is a "namespace".?? There is no option on the

David,
The problem with Synaptic particularly with Linux Mint since it is tied to
an even earlier Ubuntu version than even the current Ubuntu distrbutions and
that it is often lagging the actual development cycle for packages
considerably (not only for GnuCash but many other packages). It does ha
Hi Geert
Following your post I did the following:
- Firstly, I created the following directory in my Windows system to
simplify the re-location path: C:\Users\Mark\AppData\Roaming\GnuCash\GnuCash
- I then edited my 'enviroment.local' file, using both GNC_DATA_HOME and
GNC_CONFIG_HOME as you advise
Thanks David for that update,
I'm saving that information for the time to attempt to build this again.
Tricky is an understatement for cmake - totally unforgiving - if it's not
precisely tuned, it will spray files all over the place. I have no idea how

tarballs were done with Autotools and installs a

It would require to set both environment variables:
GNC_DATA_HOME
GNC_CONFIG_HOME
On Windows they happen to point at the same directory but it's two different
locations what GnuCash is concerned.
Can you post the environment.local file you tried to achieve this with ?

Understood, and thanks for the clarification.
I could be misreading the wiki.
Perhaps someone more familiar with the environment variables specifically on
Windows could chime in.
