Stylesheets within GnuCash are for reports. They are very limited in customizability. (and it seems even some settings don’t work at all) Most advice I’ve seen on this front is to copy/paste or export reports to a spreadsheet or browser and work from there on making them ‘pretty’ as needed for

You certainly *can* post to a sub-account of A/P or a custom A/P account as needed for your purposes, but the business features will only ’see’ transactions handled by ‘official’ methods and with ‘official’ accounts. And of course, if using an A/P sub account, the totals can roll up in reports a

MacOS High Sierra, Gnucash 3.1-3. If anyone finds a way for reducing the padding around the tabs (left), I would be very interested. 3.1 uses almost twice as much space as 2.6.X. I keep a number of tabs open (reports, accounts, registers, etc.) and this comfortably fits on the screen now in 3.1 th

That’s the same thing you can do for a customer but some fields might be required. I usually put a ‘use-next’ in the customer/bill/invoice/vendor number field so it shows up in listings and dummy info in any other required fields. You can also if desired set up (or use an already cleared custom
