Hi, Adjust the "Tax Rate" to be 80% of the rate. You can compute this relatively easily with a little algebra. Let's say the tax rate is 5%, and you have $100 in billable labor. Only 80% of that is taxable, so 0.8*100 = $80. Then you take 5% of that, .05*80 = $4. In this example you could set

Invoicing - percent of labor not taxable

Our state tax laws are such that most of the work that I do is considered "data processing" of which 20% is exempt and 80% is taxable. Is there a good way to configure GnuCash to handle that when making an invoice? I've thought of several approaches, but none seem very satisfactory: * Make o

Geert, I'm with Stan on this one - installed 2.7.? on another pc and it was one of the few things I noticed apart from the tabs being wider and the font being bigger :-( FYI I currently have icons/labels on both Mac Hi Sierra and Windows 7 & 10. From memory I don't think they show up on Ubuntu 1

Now the employee voucher has stopped adding tax again. I've attached screenshots of voucher 70, which automatically added tax when I entered a line item. I then closed GnuCash, reloaded, and created voucher 71, which is not adding tax again. I didn't do anything different when creating them. Can so

Suddenly adding sales tax on employee vouchers

Since my last post, I must have broken something. My employee voucher entries are now automatically adding sales tax to the amounts. I don't know where this came from, but it actually causes more problems because I can't find a way to deactivate it where appropriate. -- Sent from: http://gnucash

On the #1, I was about to suggest it might be an issue only on Windows, but I see the labels don’t show up in my Ubuntu installation either. They do appear on my Mac though, and I don’t see anyway to toggle them. Both are 2.6.19 so this isn’t something new in the 2.7 series. Regards, Adrien >
