Hi Justin,
I've been chasing this issue for a couple of weeks - I'm pretty sure
this is an ASX specific problem. Unfortunately, I think the problem
lies in the alpha vantage data source - we're going to need to chase
up with them to sort a fix, and may then need an update to
Finance::Quote as well.
I think he’s referring to the Grand Total bar on the CoA screen. (you can set
the position, bottom or top, in the preferences)
Ignacio,
It is a clickable drop-down. (there is an arrow on the right)
You might have clicked it and selected the EUR totals line.

HI,
As some people have noticed, around 1am-4am ET on Sunday mornings code
becomes non-responsive, gncbot disappears from IRC, and the Wiki is
inaccesible. This outage coincides with the VM host running an MD Sync

values can appear in some columns they will appear in the assigned currency

The accounts are mainly in USD except for some investments in EUR with a
parent account in USD.
However, the grand total amounts shown in Account tab are in EUR.
Why?

Hi,

I think I found the WIKI page covering this. It looks like just about what
John remembers, but perhaps there is a subtle difference:

I had mine set for "local time", so I changed it to Australia/Sydney
