Hi Rob,
Thanks for running this experiment.
The stylesheet used by ReadTheDocs is much more modern than ours and indeed
looks much nicer for online consumption. Even the pdf is cleaner.
On the other hand I also have a few concerns/questions:
1. How would a translation flow look like with asciid

You can turn off the reminder in your mailman settings.
As this is part of the mailman code, perhaps a bug report to them would be in
order concerning the storage issue.

I get the same issue when running the gnucash binary out of the build
directory. Do I need to set a different environment variable so gnucash loads
the correct .so files?

both the scm-qif-import and scm-qif-import-2 targets in the subject
CMakeLists.txt?

Unfortunately, we are beyond where I can help you with the build details,
but I can at least give my experience for comparison. I had never tried it
before, but I went to my most recent build directory and ran the gnucash
binary directly from there. It ran fine for me, in the sense that it didn't
