Hi there,
How can I debug reports? If scheme crashes, it used to print tons of
useful information to stderr. But now (as opposed to the behavior in
December) no scheme errors are printed. Did I miss a new option?

frequency does not do anything. Should it? Nor for that matter

This conversation has gotten to theoretical. I was trying to solve
an immediate programming problem. The SQL database stores
currencies the way we agreed they were soppused to work half a year
ago. As a practical matter, this doesn't mesh well with what the

currency) with the accounts balance, I realized that maybe we need a new
data type to represent that: A type which represents a gnc:numeric value
and its corresponding gnc:commodi

Finally got the unstable version to compile and run. The initial look at the
new register windows and the help system in one short word is WOW!!. It looks
