It is now possible to translate the 2.6 release page that will go up in
the GnuCash website. If you are volunteering to do it please ask and I
will give you assistance!

Most of the development right now is either being done in CVS HEAD
(for non-gui changes) and g2 (for GUI changes). I'd suggest you
download those and get started.
