problem with fr.po with gnucash-1.4.2

I have compiled the gnucash-1.4.2 sources on Mandrake 7.0 (Air) and I have the menu file and help partially in french , only the menu parametrers in french totally ,all the others menus and strings are in english. The gnucash-1.4.1.i586.rpm for mandrake works fine. Some locales to unset? Any ideas
