Ok, I just built it (and figured out why it wasn't working for you, I
bet). I appears that I needed to downgrade my version of g-wrap,
because it wouldn't build with versions even as recent as 0.9.8. I
reverted back to 0.9.1 and it built fine. So, I've now got an RPM
for you. :)

Um, I have no idea.. It just worked for me (once I got a working
version of g-wrap for RedHat 6.2). I last tried to build 1.4.8, not
1.4.9; maybe something changed in the interim? Or if you like I can
try to build the 1.4.9 RPM on 6.2

Hi Derek,
I tried to build gnucash-1.4.9, ad noticed it seemed to want guile 1.3.4
(libguile.so.6) and that you ad managed to build a rpm for stock,
unmdified redhat 6.2 that didn't have this requirement (and listed
only libguile.so.4). What's the secret?
