Hoi,
in between we got 2 weekly builds in

Shouldn't they be accessible from www.gnucash.org? (I found the directory by

Well, this is w
ppers, but it switched this on
unconditionally. Hence, as we don't have any python installed in our
windows build system, it can't do anything else than failing. I'll fix
that later tonight so that this parts won't get built unless

Hi people,
About 10 hours ago, I downloaded gnucash and installed it on my Samsung
netbook running Windows XP. I feel I need to become familiar with the system
from the users' side. I like working on something where I can use both the
technical and business side of me.
I have to go to work

Unfortunately last night's build failed, and it failed pretty quickly.
If you make further changes today I recommend you fire off a build
manually
All,
Thanks for your feedback on th guile 1.8/gcc 4.5.2 issue.
I have looked into it in more detail and it turned out to be relatively easy
to make mingw (and hence gcc) more volatile, just like all the other
dependencies.
I have commited a set of 4 patches:

Hi Geert and others
I also believe that GnuCash development should focus on, well, GnuCash.
I do too, that is why I am suggesting that the proccess to build gnucash on
Microsoft Windows
should just work and work correctly everytime. I want to develope GnuCash,
but I cannot if
I have to continua

Hi Geert
Another idea that might be worth implementing is bringing some sanity in
the
windows build system. I have several thoughts on how it could get more
attractive but I'll skip that for a future mail. I'm not sure if I would
want
to mentor such a project though... (I don't
