That's good. On the other hand I wouldn't spend too much time into tweaking
autotool files anymore, in case the solution isn't easily achievable. I.e. if
you have patches for configure.
In previous messages I have shown my solution for generating a PDF
version of the Guide. I have also submitted patches for a quick fix
to the build system to capture the steps I found success with.
