Thanks to Paul Tatham, Robert Merkel, and Robert Wackerbarth I've gotten
gnucash 1.4.1 running. I'm still a bit amazed at the number of packages
I had to install (7, including a couple more than once because the order
seemed to make a difference). And here I thought I had a relatively
complete S
I also just tried the SuSE rpm and the failed dependencies I got were:
imlibdev, g-wrap, libjpeg.so.62. I suspect the the first and the last
dependency are because I've got SuSE 6.3 and not 6.4 (I've run into
this sort of problem before) but I don't understand the g-wrap failure
because I just

believe there is a separate list devoted to help questions but I'd be
