So, it looks like (instead of building from source) the python bindings are a patch to gnucash (http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/python-gnucash). Questions I have: How does one apply this patch? Is it already included in the stable gnucash release? and doesn't one need to install something on

Hi, my previous questions regarding this matter can be discarded. As I recently discovered, choosing the option to show a 'Grand Total' does not mean, that a third number is to be shown in the summary bar, as I always expected. It rather means, that if you have multiple currencies, a Grand Total
