Hi Dick,
the gnucash project has some mailing lists. I've added these to the
distribution of this e-mail.
Thanks.

Hi everyone,
apparently it wasn't as difficult as I thought to actually mark all currency
names for translation. This means we "only" have to get the translators to
really translate them, and from now on they will appear in the correct
language.
HOWEVER: As "Dancefire" pointed out, there is al

Thank you for your input.

Some of this is due to GtkHTML. Hopefully WebKit will be better.

I think (currently running 2.3.12/svn) that DE menu entry

Which string exactly do you mean? Where is it located in the source code?

Hi,
I have 5 issues and 2 suggestions. To make me easy, I put them in a single mail.
Issue 1) All CJK characters are not shown correctly in HTML report display page.
I found the reason is encoding. Because all report are written in
UTF-8, (or current locale). The encoding should be included by th
Hello
I think (currently running 2.3.12/svn) that DE menu entry
"GnuCash Finance Management" string is missing from translation file.
Also it seems that us/de_DE locale specific strings are still marked
for translation.
I found many strings like this in gnucash.pot :
src/report/locale-specific/
Yesterday's 2.3.12 release was meant to be string freeze. If your change is
judged to be really important, I guess it would need to be done and then 2.3.13
released with this change and *it* would be the string freeze release.

The name of currency in the list should be translated to local language.
I found the discussion on bugzilla,
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118391
But it's 4 years ago. Any progress for using the package?
Unfortunately no. There hasn't been any work in that di
I am playing around with John's OS X/Quartz build, working from svn trunk.
I have managed to build it thanks to the helpful OSX/Quartz wiki page and this
list.
I noticed though that while dbi is enabled, only the sqlite3 dbi driver is
installed.
I am interested in playing with the mysql/postgr
Yes, Gnucash 2.3.12 uses webkit for the win32 build.

Webkit is enabled by default in 2.3.12.

Hi, everyone,
It's reverted to GtkHTML for Windows release in 2.3.9. And the bug 588816 is
fixed at 2.3.12. So, is it enabled for WebKit as display report engine in
2.3.12?

Hi, everyone,
Since the file, "src/engine/iso-4217-currencies.scm", contains string which
appears to user, I think the file should be translated into local language.
For example, during choosing the currency, the currencies will list as
following:
==
AUD (Australian Dollar)

Hi, everyone,
I'm using Windows 7, there is a trend to using larger icon than 48x48. I
usually like to set icon size for my desktop to "Large Icon", which is 96x96
or 128x128. However, GnuCash only support to 48x48, which makes my desktop
looks wired, since other icons are big, GnuCash's one is mu
