I have come to understand how Guile handles hashing; Rob Browning
was looking, in .../scm/prefs.scm for a "hash-for-each."
I have some code in transit that handles this; that will also fairly
substantively change the QIF code that I'm now actively fiddling with
again.

While following up on another PR, I found a drop down list box which
had "split" listed in it. however, I cannot find a simple way to do a
2 for 1, a 1 for 2, a 4 for 1, or an x for y.
What I did was to perform two transactions. the first one, "2 for 1

Depending on where you are going to put the version information, updating
the date is easy. Just add "$Date$" to the file inside the string that
you want to display and everytime this file is changed and check into cvs
the string will be updated. The catch is that the file has to be touched

Shouldn't "debits + credits = 0" be an assertion in the code? Surely it
should be impossible to make an unbalancing entry.

hey everyone,
I just noticed more display problems.. again, I'm running the CVS
version with the last 8 patches as sent to gnucash-patches (except for
the gtk_html stuff).. my system is:
- rh 6.0
- gtk/gdk 1.2.6-1
- nana 2.3-2
- XmHTML 1.1.5-1
can't think of what else is relevant.. anyways..
