Some nice points in that:
- Auto resizing windows as they're dragged to the corner. I'd love to
see this implemented as an advanced user feature with a control key to
enable it.
- Snapping applications together. Something that's been suggested
before and that I think is a great idea.

Hi folks,
I've done a quick google, but although I can find the error, I can't
find any mention of a solution or workaround. Can anybody suggest
what I could do to get gnome-shell working.
I tried running "jhbuild build -a -c", but it ends with this error:

I was getting this error tonight. I don't know why, but erasing my .jhbuild
and gnome-shell folders, and repeating the process solved it.

Thanks, I couldn't find .jhbuild, but renaming the gnome-shell and
mutter folders seems to have forced a new download and it's building
fine now.

I know gnome shell is in early developpement stage, and the following or
similar may be implemented or not necessary. Anyway I think it's allready
quiet usable and nice to work with. But while using it I felt it could be

So in the latest build, clicking the date shows the calendar. Currently it
just shows the calendar and that is it. Are there plans to have it work with
evolution (or whatever email client)?
I've also noticed that the calendar dropdown is available while in overlay but

Hey all,
I gave gnome shell a bit of time today, I've been tuned in to this mailing
list for some time and previously built the project a few times out of
curiosity. Today I spent a couple of hours using it and wanted to share my
feedback:
The main issue I found was that I couldn't easily keep tr
As to memory, I noticed this as well, but I am
coming to the conclusion that it is using a lot of memory per
window/workspace. I noticed that after having it open for 9 hours it
was using 12% of my 2GB of memory.
