hi! there seems to be a persistent problem with screen backlight setting under gnome3. even if the correct backlight leves are set in power management, the shell ignores these, and alwyas sets the backlight to maximum when on AC power, and minimum when on battery. is there any workaround for this?

hi! i'm having this problem under opensuse (tumbleweed), that ibus doesn't appear anywhere. under ubuntu the try icon for the input method is on the notification bar, and as i remember in fedora rawhide it's next to the sound and network icons on the panel (a batter solution imho), but unfortunate

Sorry I was referring to the Favorites. I read the subject line. I agree that it would be a duplicate but extensions are more add-ons for people to have choice. In any case if the Gnome developers don't like it... there's no reason a third party (like the fedora team) couldn't write one. [?]
