What are the commands to bind to an accelerator key so that I can toggle
or turn on and off quickly ownership and permissions under the names of
files? Of course it can be done by Preferences --> List Columns, but
all suggestions on how I can do this with a single key stroke for a

second user while I was already logged in as another user. I can't find
it in Gnome 2.14. If it has been removed --ahhh!? I used to use it a

speed of the bouncing. It is currently far too fast. No one would

If I use the Alt-F7 key, I can grab a window and move it either using my
mouse or arrow keys. I would like to be able to fine tune this window
movement. Right now the arrow keys move a window by about 25? pixels
with each button press. I would like to get at the program that does

This is a repeat request for help from five days ago.
I keep Epiphany's book mark window loaded but as a panel icon. Whenever
I logout with the icon still viable (which is often, I forget about it)
I get an unnecessary recovery dialogue on logging back in. How can I

I have reinstalled Fedora 14. All if my /home directory was backed up
on another disk. I have copied (restored) the backup to my new /home.
Gnote doesn't see my gnotes. They are important to me. How do I
configure gnote to look in the right directory

Have used the following command:
]$ gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.auto-move-windows
application-list\
"['firefox.desktop:1','evolution.desktop:2','XChat-GNOME.desktop:2']"
On login firfox and evolution place themselves on the correct desktop.
XChat-GNOME does not. It ignores desktop:2
If I Alt+F2 and enter epiphany I can get epiphany to
open in google (my epiphany home page) with the search completed. That
is so handy for checking definitions, history and names etc. Is there
anything like that I can use in Gnome3. I would want it to look exactly
